Holster. The snow fell gently from the heavens, creating a wonderful winter wonderland in the valley below. Woodland creatures were safely tucked away in their dens while the hunters prowled about for a possible meal, having grown lean from the lack of avalible prey. The snow hid any and all tracks, even decorating the branches of a tree who's leave had not fallen. The evergreen masked a creature who nestled safetly against it's dark trunk, the branches holding his mass from the ground. The sable canine hardly seem to be alive, save for the steady rise and fall of his rib cage as air was inhaled and exhaled. He would go unoticed unless someone was really looking hard for him, which was very unlikely. The male kept mostly to himself and made conversation with only the birds.
Rasue. The weather had not changed since the day before, as the heaven-like female would notice as she paid attention to the continuously falling minute snowflakes. But Ras loved it. It was just so relaxing to wander at night, without a direction, only to see how amazing mother nature was. Femme of explendid beauty would just continue her way, following the sound of the near running waters only if she had not noticed a uncommon presence. Her senses wouldn't fail her, there was a creature around, it smelled like... she inhaled the air, her nasals registering some kind of hybrid animal, something between the wolves and... she inhaled again, a image becoming clearer inside her head, the image of... a bird? What the hell is that, now? Auditors perked up on crania, trying to catch any sound the hybrid could make. He was close, but where? Caudal appendage swayed. Orbs were directed up, just to catch the sight of a shadow upon the branches of a stillgreen tree. There it was. Rasue's deep heaven eyes scanned the wolfbird, studing all the shapes and trying to figure out what nature was thinking about when she designed him. Of course, a male as her narines would say. He was not asleep nor dead, for the constant up-and-down of his torax were a sign of life. Well, curiosity was her weakness: what was he, really?
Holster's ears perked at the sound of snow underfoot. Whatever was out there, it was near, very near. He raised his head, peering down at the damsel with gleaming yellow eyes. However, one was devoid of a pupil and therefore and endless sea of gold. Etched in the flesh across the eye, an 'x', the cause of blindness. The staring would cease as a rather large bird came fluttering into the tree. Though hardly different from it's cousin, the raven puffed out it's big black chest and flapped it's wings. Noticing this, a hiss escaped the male as he snapped at the bird. With a screech the raven flew off. Nasty things. Holster watched it disappear and when it did so he rose to stand, careful of his grip on the polished bark. Peering down at the damsel once more, he would suddenly slip gracefully from the branch. Wings would snap open a moment before the ground was met and he would stand before her. Statuesque appearence was offset by the thickness of his winter coat and a second scar. It began as two scars at the nape, extending and crossing over the delicate skin between his shoulder blades were his wings joined his body, ending at each haunch: a memoir of bygone days.
Rasue's caudal appendance woulg hold still for more than only a few seconds, while the shadowed creature would glide to hit it's feet upon the soft snow blanket. Freezing air would be inhaled and then released as a sigh, the only apparent reaction of the full vision she was now having of the said wolfbird. Explendid fur would ceed to a stronger wind blow with a soft movement -thick peltage would keep Rasue from feeling the actual temperature outside from her thermic isolation. However, not really knowing what would be his actual intention on lowering his body to the earth, extremely beautiful coated fae would instintively contract her muscles, holding a defencive position. Perks were directed to the hybrid between birds and wolves, listening to moves, nasals would inhale his perfume, trying to figure out the scent of his intentions, and occulars were attentive studying some creature that did not exalated the aroma of beauty.
Holster's head cocked to the side at the position she took. Feathered appendages flaired out to their full length, only to be safely tucked against his spine. A limb was extended, pressing weight on the paw, but no actually step was taken. Nose quivered. Damsel was different in her own right and he had not encountered one of her breeding. "I will not harm you." he uttered, voice strangely velvety yet foreign. Pulling back his paw he stood squarely on all fours, head still cocked as if curious of her. Tail was kept low, a sign he was not one to assert dominance. He wished to make the situation less awkward, after all, it was she who had stared at him from his perch. He supposed he should be used to it, for here, the canine nox corvus did not exist. Therefore, here he was known as a hybrid, and unatural pairing between beast and bird.
Rasue's auds would perk even more at the sound of his deep voice. Well, it was true she was not familiarized with his kind -and how could she? He was so different and so... different that... well, it would be strange that she, of an undeniable beauti and explendor, would be seen befriending one of his kind. She did think it was quite arrogant to think that way but yeah, it was her way. Still she would not leave aside the education and the kidness het father made sure she would show to others, even if she didn't really want to. "I am Rasue." she said, the voice leaving her deep throad in a low and gracefull tone, sounding as calming and nice as a bell melody. "...Interesting species that of yours. What are your origins?" she would ask, wondering what unusual answer would come. Rasue noticed those wings could easily scare a prey or a bluffing attacker as well as be very usefull at some sort of situations. Pinkish appendage rolled out of mawline in order to study the temperature outside her warm alabaster coat, as caudal would sway every now and then behind her still standing frame, unwilling to take a more relaxed posture.
