Pale paladin reclined 'pon haunches beneath a rocky overhang, which seemed to shelter most of the downpour. It seemed to be raining quite hard today, and with the sun's glare attempting to peek through the clouds, the dual happenings birthed a rainbow which seemed to stretch across the great blue -- or gray?
Idol grumbled, silver pools leering doubtful into the soggy atmosphere. "What a drag.." he grunted, cadual curling tightly to 'is flank in a small attempt to keep warm, even though it wasn't terribley cold out, he supposed it was all in his head. Harks fell back 'pon dome as he allowed his attention to wander about his surroundings, only to see unknown wolves in the distance, huddled together in their own makeshift shelters. Some pups played in the puddles, whilst flustered parents made sorry attempts to chase them back into the dens.
He kept his place beneath the cover. It was safe from the rain, but hardly proved aid in shelter from the cool drafts that kept dancing in and around him. Great sails masked in cherub plume closed in tighter at his dorsal, somewhat hugging his shoulders as he shivered faintly. He shook his head, and emit another snort of annoyance, casting another glare at the overcast heavens.

Little whelpen bounces up and down on the puddles of water created by the gloomy weather. Neon lime optics gazed from the puddles of water towards the creamy hue brute. Crania tilted sideways, little whelpen wondering to why he seemed so enraged over the downpour.
Soft snort was given as it prod over towards the brute cautiously, petite embodiment laid low as it seem to camouflage her along with the dark background. Auds perked up as it flickers a time or two listening to the surrounding area. Slight chuckle on how the brute would react towards her amused her. Upon reaching near the rocky overhang, little one hid somewhere behind a nearby rock. Front pillars pawed to the slightly slippery rock as she tries to get a view of the brute. His colossal embodiment seemed wet, wrapping his rudder around himself as he tried to achieve warmth. Neon lime optics soon shifted from the brute's sight towards her shivering embodiment. Getting her paws off the wet rocks she laid behind it as she began to follow what the brute did, wrapping her rudder over herself. Crania stuck out of the rock side slightly as she observed the brute and the surroundings.

A yawn escaped from the wide mouthed; seraphic eminence could not feel more desolate and dispirited than that day. Ebony dipped harks swiveled every now and then, extremity hardly showed life, smacking the annoying bugs that flew atop 'er slender bodice. Jowls parted slightly as every two minutes, a snort of apathy uttered from larynx. Skull heavily rested between delicate foremittens, pewter gazers shifted across bitch's den frantically, scanning the nigritude, and eventually, falling upon her lair's entrance. It was raining outside. She could hear the raindrops splashing all over the emerald terrain. She could inhale the pleasant smell of wet soil. She could picture the sky outside, all grayish and cloudy. The piercing climate made the dominant heavenhound tremble a little. What a boring, sad afternoon.
"I wonder if the others are alright...", she whispered to the nothing, turning away to face her sleepy&beloved mate for a brief moment. "There are three parentless puppies within the pack. I have no time to take care of them, at least for now... I wonder if any of the other packmembers are watching them?"

Idolatry's harks pricked upon catching the faint sound of a tiny chuckle. Angered leer, once cast towards the sobbing heavens, softened, darting idley towards where it had come from. Out of the corner of his gaze, he caught the sight of a small one making her way towards him -- or apparently "sneeking" up on him. Brims couldn't help but pull into a soft smirk.
Deciding to play along, he pretended to let the whelp go unnoticed; leer averting from the whelp's position to stare out into the wilderness, again, watching the other wolves prance about in the falling tears of the sky. He waited a few moments, allowing the little one to find her hiding place. All was silent, save for the constant spattering of raindrops splashing the firmanent; but that was only ambience, as well as the occational bark of a flustered wolf parent, and the yelp of a playing whelp.
Scratching upon a rock, much closer to the paladin. He decided to take a look, turning crystal leer to catch the miniscule tyke's dome poking from behind a small boulder. "Oh dear!" he yelped in a high-pitched whine -- of course, sarcasm, for he knew all along that she had been trying to sneek up on him. He chuckled heartily, "You scared me!"
Pale cherub turned in his reclined position; sails readjusting easily 'pon dorsal as he did so, to face the whelp. "I don't believe we've met before, have we?" he querried. Slitted nares wiggled, taking in the mixed familiar scents of his packmates which came from the little thing. He smiled, "I'm Idolatry -- You can call me Idol, though. It's a bit easier on the tongue." He joked with another hearty chuckle.

Kennel dragged her paws through the mud, leaving slimy, gooey tracks. Amused by this simple activity, she chased her tails, watching as a swirling pattern appeared in the wet dirt. She was acting like a mere puppy; and somehow this made her giggle slightly. Her paws, usually black, were now a deep, dark brown, and the fur was matted into muddy ringlets. Even her snout had been splashed by the terra and she looked like she'd just fallen into a swamp.
Recently accepted as omega, Kennel had little place within the pack. Most of the puppies were frolicking around in the puddles - for them, at least, there was entertainment in this dreary day. The older pack members were yet again somewhere else. Sighing, Kennel shook herself - water droplets sprang from her fur and flecked the ferns. Mud still clang to her pelt, but at least she was soaked to the skin and freezing at it, too.
Dragging herself onto a rock, she slung herself over it, her body falling limp, her limbs slung casually over the edges. Raising her head, she surveyed her surroundings. An overhang sheltered a grown wolf and a pup, and the two alphas were resting a ways off. Now would be a good time to socialize, to get to know her new pack. As quickly as she had come on, she slid off her rock and sank into the mud again, dragging herself clumsily out of it, and making hesitant steps toward the alphas.

Optics gazed towards the brute, a smile erected onto the little one's facial. Thinking that she would actually scare the colossal brute managed to put a smile on her, not knowing the fact that she was already seen. "Idol.. " A face was made as little one pronounced brute's name. Rudder sways slightly as she sat up right, looking towards the brute. "Flickered... my name is Flickered. Flick for short."
Little one stood up slowly as she padded off playfully outside again. Crania shifted back towards the brute as she perked her auds, moving her crania towards the direction of another den. Sniffing the scent of a pack friend she immediately darted towards the direction. A distance away, a pasty hue fae could be seen from little one's point of view. Bouncing up and down in excitement she then remember about the brute, Gaze shifted from the fae towards the faraway brute. Crania tilted slighty as she pondered over who to play with. Just then little one had noticed her once tawny pillars now dusky hue, muddy and wet. Excitement got the better over this little one as she then began to bounce around and roll on the terrain.

The little wolf snuffled around the area, she was in a playful mood, yet embarrassed to do anything about her pack. She spotted a few other wolves which carried the same scent as she did. She smiled, and curiosity overwhelmed the embarrassment to what they were doing in the puddles and rain. Remembering, she shook her feathers in order to keep the droplets off. “Damnation,” she growled, and wondered over to the group. Shyly she tried her smile again, “Hello.” She sat soon after.

Kennel pivoted to see the other wolves, and all thoughts of alphas were dropped. She scrambled through the mud, splashing dirty drops everywhere, and staining her fur even more.
After frolicking a bit, she sat down in the grass, her rear already soaked. Omega cocked her head to one side, then to the other, watching her packmates. A pup, and a winged wolf.
"Salu-" Then she stopped herself. Salutations? Idiotic little wolf! Kennel blushed with embarassment. Salutations? What was she, a grandma? "H-hello," she managed to stammer out, before pasting a fake smile onto her maw and waiting for the other wolves' response.
( ooc: Cheesy. Sorry, I'm kind of slow today. )
